Performance Requirements & Assessment Tools

The student will be involved in solving a number of design problem over the course of the semester, resulting in web-based projects that will be used to assess course objectives and intended outcomes.

The student will use the computer as an ideation, production and presentation tool, although thumbnail and presentational roughs on paper will also be assigned as part of the ideation process and will be used as assessment tools. Exercises and rough presentations will be graded and must be finished at the beginning of the class period in which they are assigned.

Late work will be graded down one letter for each class period that it is late. Students should expect to spend a minimum of three hours outside of class each week to complete the work requirements for this course.

Student work from this class may be posted as examples on future web sites housing course materials for this class, including on www.dana.edu, imedia.dana.edu, and on www.starlastensaas.net.
