Art.420 iMedia Capstone Proposal
Course Objectives & Intended Outcomes
The student will participate in critique of the work of self and others, practicing the use of a design vocabulary.
The student will participate in a design team approach to developing a proposal for his/her iMedia capstone project.
The student will present evidence of having engaged in proscribed and self-generated ideation and revision processes.
The student will demonstrate the ability to develop useful thumbnail roughs, presentational roughs, and comps at appropriate steps in the design process.
The student will demonstrate the ability to write an effective design problem statement and creative strategy outline.
The student will show evidence of considering the assumptions and suppositions of his/her concentration's discipline in developing a proposal for his/her iMedia capstone project.
The student will utilize design concepts in making visual choices to create web pages and print documents for a web-based proposal.
The student will prepare a proposal for his/her iMedia capstone project that communicates clearly and professionally in both written and visual forms.
The student will prepare a proposal for his/her iMedia capstone project that demonstrates evidence of considering the audience in organizing information and designing a final presentation.
