Saving Images for the Web

To prepare image files for a web site:
1. create a folder to house the site files.
2. prepare a folder for your scanned images.
3. prepare a folder for Photoshop image files that will serve as templates for your web images.

When scanning or creating images for web pages, begin with a working image that is 144 dpi or 288 dpi. Place the scanned images in your scanned image folder. Place your created images in your Photoshop template folder.
