Preparing Images for Animation

Place your first image in the scanner. Since you will be scanning all seven images in the same way, pay attention to which corner is aligned in the scanner. Open Photoshop, select File, Import, Twain acquire.

Select 144 for dpi for images that will be posted on the web. Because 144 is a multiple of 72 (the final resolution for the web), this dpi will allow for more precise image editing and manipulation.

Draw a box around the prescan that is a little larger than the image.
