After you have saved your image for web as a Gif, you are finished with this file. When you put it away, a warning dialog box will prompt you to save your file. DO NOT SAVE your Photoshop file or you will overwrite your template. After you saved your template, you changed the image and canvas size. If you save this version of the file, you will not have the original, larger file to use as a template.

When you have finished scanning, cleaning, and saving all your images, you should have a folder that looks like the image above.
